Federal Reserve Alert! November consumer credit increased at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 7.1 percent. Revolving credit (for example credit cards) increased at an annual rate of 16.9 percent
nonrevolving credit (for example student loans) increased at an annual rate of 3.9 percent.

Inflation Alert! The New York Fed released the December 2022 Survey of Consumer Expectations, which shows that inflation expectations continued to decline in the short term and were unchanged over the medium term.

Medium-term expectations remained at 3.0 percent
Five-year-ahead measure increased to 2.4 percent
